Transient Behaviour

Have you ever tracked your thoughts between the time you get to bed and the time you actually fall asleep? I tried last night, and it was pretty damned funny. It went a little something like this:

I first imagine there are some random people around me (in my current setting) talking about how that Siddharth is going to sleep, and too much noise should not be made. Interestingly, I’m also standing there, playing an active role in the conversation. We then discuss how Siddharth is presently trying to track what he’s thinking just before going to sleep. We then discuss his progress and find that the situation is fairly funny.

The real me then realises that there’s actually no one around me, and that figments of imagination have an uncanny knack of actually being just figments of a wild imagination. There’s actually no one around me. It was all just imagined. There’s no one around me. Then who the hell is saying this to me???
